Watch: New Moon

In Twilight, vampires arised, in New Moon, werewolves emerged.

Some of the comments I heard about New Moon before watching the movie are that there are lots of talking and less actions in the film. After all, the movie was based on a fantasy-romance novel written by a female writer so I presumed that it is a romantic story in vein with Romeo & Juliet (thus featured in the movie), but with a twist, that is, vampires & werewolves existence as the setting.

The continuity between Twilight and New Moon was kept intact and the mood brought from the first movie was also refreshing so it was easy to plunge yourself into emotional train wrecks throughout the whole movie. And for most part of the movie, it shows that it was truly catered for the MTV generation, with most of the scenes felt like a long music video. The scene where Edward and Bella parted was not good enough, probably because of the acting or the script. I would say that the best part in the movie would be the scene where Jacob revealed himself as a werewolf in front of Bella. We already saw that coming but the timing is good and all. It's just that I felt a little bit annoyed about Bella as she was so selfish and greedy, but that's just script...
